Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 5 eight-hour day shifts per week with a 0700 or 0830 start time as assigned
• 4 weekends (Saturday/Sunday) required during a 13-week assignment
• Holiday call requirements apply
• 30-minute call response time required
• Must have Cath Lab and Neuro experience
• Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab experience required
• Must be able to scrub and circulate a STEMI
• Must be willing to learn circulating and monitoring in neuro interventional for call
• High risk coronary intervention and STEMI intervention scrubbing experience required
• Job duties include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating
• Common diagnoses and patient types include coronary and neuro cases, including high risk coronary
• Facility operates 6 suites/labs with an average of 18 cases per day
• Cardiologist support available 24/7
• Supervisor/charge available during operating hours Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• May be floated to EP/IR
• Scrubs are provided
• 5-shift orientation during the first week
• EMR and equipment: Epic/McKesson
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), ARRT, BLS (AHA), Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
• Active Illinois license required or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
• BSN not required
