PCU Registered Nurse Job in Atlanta, GA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 89-day travel assignment at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA. You will work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), providing intermediate-level care to patients with complex medical needs.

Assignment Details:

• Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Shift: 3x12 Days
• Duration: 89 days
• Start Date: August 17, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $1,887

Unit Overview:

The PCU is a 16-bed intermediate care unit where you will work with a patient ratio of 1 to 4. This setting bridges acute care and general medical-surgical floors, serving patients transitioning between high-acuity and standard care levels.

Clinical Responsibilities:

You will provide nursing care to patients with a range of acute and chronic conditions, including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 diabetes, substance abuse, and encephalopathy. Your duties will include administering and managing Heparin drips and monitoring hemodynamic stability.

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
