Job Details:

• Work 4x10 day shifts with variable start times between 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM
• Rotating weekend schedule with every other weekend required
• Overtime support required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• California RN licensure required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), CNOR
• Must have scrub and circulate experience
• Cardiac experience required
• Experience with Hepatobiliary, Robotic, Spine, and Ophthalmology services required
• Provide direct and indirect patient care utilizing nursing processes including comprehensive patient assessment, development and implementation of care plans, patient education, and ongoing evaluation
• Deliver holistic and individualized care to all patients in assigned area
• Develop, implement, and coordinate interdisciplinary plans of care incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
• Foster and maintain collaborative relationships between patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Work in a 12-room operating suite performing a wide range of surgical procedures including cardiac, hepatobiliary, ophthalmology, general surgery, gynecology, orthopedic spine, neurosurgery, robotic surgery, ENT, oral, and pediatric surgeries
• Operate specialized equipment including DaVinci, Ion, Globus, cataract machine, vitrectomy machine, and Brainlab systems
• Patient population includes neonates through adults
• 40 orientation hours required
