OR Registered Nurse Job in Tracy, CA

Sutter Health Tracy Community Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 12, 2026, offering 5x8 day shifts with start times between 6:45 AM and 8:30 AM. Weekly pay is $2,812.32.

Shift and Call Requirements

• 5x8 day shifts with flexible start times between 6:45 AM and 8:30 AM
• Call requirement includes overnights on weekdays, 24-hour weekend coverage, and 24-hour holiday coverage
• Typically one day of call per week and usually one weekend per month

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience in a community hospital or Trauma Level II facility
• Minimum 2 years of circulating experience in a community hospital setting
• Demonstrated experience with General Surgery, Orthopedics, Spine, Urology, Robotics, OB/GYN (C-sections), and Plastic Surgery
• Sedation administration and monitoring experience required; must be comfortable with GI cases
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform GI cases, administer sedation, and assist with C-sections while on call
• Provide individualized nursing care based on competencies in nursing fundamentals and pharmacology
• Apply nursing process to geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients from admission through discharge
• Demonstrate knowledge of standards of care, nursing assessment parameters, and pharmacology including doses, purpose, interactions, side effects, and medication reactions

Required Certifications

• California RN Licensure
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS (AHA or ARC certified)
• NIHSS Certification (AHA or ARC certified)
• Two professional references obtained within the last year
