Operating Room RN Job in Mammoth Lakes, CA

Mammoth Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Operating Room. This is a 13-week travel assignment beginning October 5, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: Three 12-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Call coverage: One on-call shift per week, 7:30 PM to 7:00 AM, scheduled immediately following your day shift
• Weekly pay: $2,154

Your Responsibilities

• Initiate and implement plans of care based on identified medical, surgical, and nursing diagnoses consistent with operating room standards
• Assess and monitor the physical status of patients, collecting and recording necessary data through patient interviews, observation, and review of records and diagnostic results
• Provide nursing care to surgery patients and supervise related personnel activities
• Maintain patient safety, provision of supplies and equipment, and uphold aseptic technique
• Demonstrate competency in creating and maintaining a sterile field
• Anticipate equipment and supply needs before cases begin

Required Qualifications

• Current State of California Registered Nurse License
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• American Heart Association ACLS certification
• Minimum two years of operating room experience
• Strong comfortability with Orthopedics (Arthrex, DePuy, Synthes), general, and ENT procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• CNOR certification
• Cerner experience
