Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 3x12 or 4x12 day shifts available
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend, may change based on need
• Floating to other like med surg units may be required
• Patient ratio of 6:1 on days, nights, and weekends
• Care for adult patients with higher oxygen demands, dialysis needs, atrial fibrillation, and post heart catheterization
• Step-down from ICU level care with no ventilators or pressor support
• Administer and manage drips including heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, and sotalol initiation
• Telemetry monitoring required
• Special equipment includes peritoneal dialysis
• Skills required include BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care, chest tube management, heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula, interpretation of arterial blood gases, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, pre/post cardiac catheterization care, pre/post hemodialysis management, tracheostomy care, wound care, and wound vac management
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Tennessee nursing license required
