Telemetry RN Job in Memphis, TN

Methodist University Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 91-day travel assignment on our Medical Surgical Telemetry unit in Memphis, Tennessee. This is a day shift position working 4x12 hours, with weekly compensation of $2,764.80.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care on a medical surgical orthopedic unit with a team nursing model. Your patient ratio will be 1:12 patients split between 2 RNs, 2 LPNs, a medication nurse, and charge nurse. You will be responsible for monitoring patients on telemetry and supporting the broader care team in a Level I Trauma hospital setting.

Schedule and Commitment

This is a day shift assignment with 48 guaranteed hours per week. Weekend rotation is required as needed. On-call availability is required. A block schedule is not available, though a weekend block may be considered. You may be floated to like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius. If all three end-of-year holidays fall within your assignment period, you must be willing to work 2 of the 3.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license (state license or NLC compact license compliant)
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience; 3+ years preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted
• Orthopedic nursing experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Large hospital experience required
• Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment

Preferred Qualifications

• EPIC electronic health record experience
• ADN accepted; BSN not required

Assignment Details

Start date is November 2, 2026. This assignment is for local travelers only—you must reside at least 100 miles from the facility. Methodist University Hospital is a large, complex acute-care setting where you will work alongside experienced clinical teams.
