Telemetry RN Job in Germantown, TN

Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Med-Surg Telemetry unit. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting November 2, 2026, with a schedule of 3x12-hour day shifts at $2,085 per week.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care across a med-surg overflow unit, post-surgical unit, and observation area. Your patient population will include adults and geriatrics with diagnoses in medical oncology, GYN surgery, and general med-surg cases. You will maintain a patient ratio of 1:5–6 across days, nights, and weekends as the unit transitions to a team nursing model.

Schedule & Expectations

• 3x12-hour day shifts
• Weekend shifts required as needed
• On-call coverage as needed
• Block schedule not available; weekend block may be considered
• Must work at least one end-of-year holiday if two fall within your assignment, or two of three if all three holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) occur during your tenure
• May float between like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent med-surg experience; 3+ years preferred
• At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Active RN license in Tennessee or compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines
• BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Telemetry and IV start skills
• ADN or BSN (both accepted)
• EPIC experience preferred
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility
