Med Surg RN Job in Carlsbad, NM

Carlsbad Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Med Surg. This is a day shift position working 3 x 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide general skilled nursing care at the SNF level within the 14-bed unit
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:8
• Float within scope of practice and clinical competency to Rehab and Med Surg units as needed
• Participate in call coverage with varying schedule; on-call may be assigned prior to scheduled shift start if census is low
• Document care using the MedHost EMR system
• Wear any color scrubs

• Weekly pay: $1,782
• Shift: 3 x 12 hours, days

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required; 2+ years preferred
• Current BLS certification
• RN license (valid in New Mexico)
