Med-Surg RN Job in Socorro, NM

Presbyterian Health Services Inc is seeking a registered nurse for Med-Surg to join our team in Socorro, NM. You will work 12-hour shifts and can expect a weekly pay of $2,172 during this 89-week assignment beginning October 26, 2026.

In this role, you will deliver direct patient care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document individual patient needs and responses. You will coordinate care through collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during each shift
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols, documenting according to policy
• Identify and meet patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care
• Initiate, utilize, and document appropriate protocols and standards of care
• Assume clinical supervision responsibilities for LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel
• Complete patient population, age-specific, procedure, and protocol education and competency testing per unit standards
• Float between departments or local locations within 20 miles as required
