CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour day shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM, Friday through Sunday
• Must be able to perform both CT and X-Ray
• May occasionally be asked to float to other facilities as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers welcome
• Must be able to start IVs; approximately 8-9 IVs required per day
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT - CT, and ARRT - R
• Outpatient (Adult and Pediatric) and Emergency Department experience required
• PACS, Portables, and Siemens experience required; Samsung X-Ray experience preferred
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Experience with infants and pediatrics preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred; Trauma Level II experience preferred
• X-Ray procedures include: Extremities, Abdomen/GI, Spine/Pelvis, Head, Chest/Thorax, Musculoskeletal, Lower Extremities, and Upper Extremities
• CT procedures include: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, and Multiplanar Reconstruction
• ED and outpatient exams include: CT and X-Ray, Cardiac CT (Pulmonary Vein CT and Cardiac Calcium Scores), and Perfusion Studies
• Skills include: 3D rendering, brain perfusion, carotid, vascular CTA, code stroke, radiation safety, isolation precautions/PPE, and preparation and administration of contrast media
• Serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
