About this role

You will work as a CT Technologist in the fast-paced emergency department at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. This is a 140-day travel assignment beginning September 2, 2026, paying $2,445 weekly.

Schedule & Hours

  • 3x12 nights: Saturday and Sunday 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, Monday 3:00 PM–3:00 AM
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • No call requirement; no float requirement
  • Weekend schedule (Saturday, Sunday, Monday) with no rotating time off permitted

The Role

You will handle a daily caseload of 150–200 scans across 4 rooms, averaging 15–20 patients per 12-hour shift. Your responsibilities include routine ED scans, Code Stroke protocols, and Level 2 trauma cases. You must be proficient performing CT procedures on the abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal system, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction. You will work with both adult and pediatric populations, including infants, adolescents, and geriatrics.

Equipment & Systems

  • Primary scanners: GE and Siemens FORCE (Siemens FORCE experience is mandatory)
  • Special equipment: Siemens S3000 and Sequoia scanners
  • Unit systems: EPIC charting and Visage imaging software

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years CT experience
  • Required certifications: BLS and ARRT(R)(CT)
  • Required skills: inpatient, ER, and adult ICU experience
  • Preferred skills: outpatient, IV starts, PACS, contrast administration, and Visage proficiency
  • Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
  • First-time travelers accepted

Additional Information

You must bring royal blue scrubs (not provided by the facility). Your credential is Allied Health Professional. This assignment offers no call and no float responsibilities, allowing you to focus on direct patient care in a high-volume ED setting.
