Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, schedule determined based on facility needs and candidate availability
• Weekend and holiday shifts required
• No on-call or standby call requirements
• Perform 15+ treatments per day in an acute care setting
• Work across ER, ICU, CVICU, and ward areas with no outpatient services
• Treat adult patients primarily, with some pediatric and infant patients in the ER setting
• Perform ABGs, EKGs, ventilator management, BiPAP, and CPAP as part of general respiratory therapy duties
• Assist with intubation across all areas
• Operate respiratory equipment including Avea, LTV, and Zoll ventilators, V60, V30, SiPAP, Vapotherm, and Optiflow for hospital transfers
• May be required to float between two campuses - West Campus (adults only) and East Campus (all ages)
• No solo shifts - will always work alongside other respiratory staff
• Document patient care using Cerner charting system
• Dress code requires black scrubs with no logos
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS, and CRT verification
• Adult critical care experience with confidence in this area required
• Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per contract, or 3 shifts if contract is under 13 weeks
