ED RN Job in Pahala, HI

You'll work as an RN in the Emergency Department at Ka'u Hospital in Pahala, Hawaii. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 9, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 12-hour shifts, 6 days per two-week cycle (72 hours total)
• Every third weekend off
• Weekly pay: $3,021
• Hours are not guaranteed

Requirements

• Current RN license in Hawaii (required by assignment start date)
• Minimum two years of emergency department experience
• Arrive Thursday before your start date for Friday employee health appointment

Responsibilities

You will cover all areas of the facility, including the emergency room, acute care, and long-term care units. When ER patient volume is low, you'll provide backup coverage in acute and LTC settings. You'll pass medications and perform procedures for patients in both LTC and acute care when assigned. Due to the facility's structure, you may float between different units as needed.
