ED RN Job in Kaunakaki, HI

You'll work in the Emergency Department at Molokai General Hospital, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. This is a rotating shift position with 12-hour shifts on your choice of schedule: a 36-hour guarantee (3 shifts per week) or a 48-hour guarantee (4 shifts per week).

Contract Details

• 17-week assignment starting September 14, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,516
• Rotating shift schedule with 12-hour shifts
• Requested time off limited to 7 days maximum during the initial contract period (Wednesday through Wednesday)

Requirements

• RN degree (ASN or BSN)
• Two or more years of full-time staff Emergency Department nursing experience
• Valid Hawaii RN License
• Current certifications required: BLS/HCP, ACLS, PALS, NRP (Advanced), TNCC, NIHSS, and CPI
• All licenses and certifications must remain valid from application submission through contract completion

About the Role

You'll assess patients, administer medications, assist with procedures, and collaborate with the care team to deliver safe, timely emergency care. Based on operational needs, you may be asked to float to other clinical areas of equal or lesser acuity. This position offers the opportunity to practice emergency nursing in a community hospital setting on the island of Molokai.
