ED RN Job in Hilo, HI

Join Hilo Medical Center's emergency department as a registered nurse on the night shift. This 15-week travel assignment offers you the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while gaining valuable experience in acute care nursing.

• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts (36 hours per week)
• Duration: 15 weeks, starting December 14, 2026
• Pay: $2,111 weekly
• Location: Hilo Medical Center, Hilo, Hawaii

About the Role

You will work in a 28-bed emergency department designed to handle high-volume patient care. The unit includes 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms. Patient turnover is brisk, requiring strong clinical skills and the ability to prioritize care in a dynamic setting. You'll collaborate with an experienced team of nurses and physicians committed to delivering quality emergency care.

Requirements

• Current RN license (Hawaii nursing license required prior to start of assignment)
• Ability to work night shifts on a consistent 3x12 schedule
• Experience in emergency or acute care preferred
