ED RN Job in Silverdale, WA

St Michael Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room in Silverdale, WA. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 16, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,507.

Position Details

• Work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend schedule based on unit needs and demands
• Must work holidays in November and December; manager may consider one of three holidays if it does not conflict with unit demands
• No on-call or standby requirements; extra shifts available but not required
• No floating to other units
• Patient ratios of 1:3 for standard acuity and 1:4 for low acuity

Clinical Environment

You will care for patients presenting with cardiac conditions, stroke, sepsis, DKA, altered mental status, respiratory conditions, abdominal pain, and mental health cases in a busy emergency setting.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of experience in a larger trauma setting
• Washington state or Compact nursing license
• Current ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC, and NIHSS certifications
• BSN not required

Orientation and Expectations

Orientation consists of one day of compliance information (8–10 hours) followed by one day of department orientation (12 hours). No time-off requests will be considered during the first full week of assignment. The hospital may cancel up to four shifts per 13-week assignment or up to three shifts for assignments shorter than 13 weeks.

Work Environment

The facility uses Epic for charting. Any professional scrub colors are acceptable. This position offers the opportunity to work in a direct patient-care role without floating responsibilities or on-call demands.
