ED RN Job in McKinney, TX

Join Medical City McKinney's 37-bed Level 2 Trauma Emergency Department as a registered nurse. You'll work the night shift—3 twelve-hour shifts per week from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m—for a 91-day contract starting September 28, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,150.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting with a patient ratio of 1:4 per zone. The department operates with consistent staffing: a charge nurse, 7 RNs, 2 Techs/Paramedics, and 5 mid-shift RNs with 2 mid-shift techs during both day and night shifts. You may float to hold admitted ED patients within the department as needed. Within any four-week period, you are required to work 4 weekend shifts; no on-call responsibilities are expected.

Clinical Requirements

You must hold current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications. Experience with Meditech EMR and GE Monitors is required. Scrub dress code is royal blue top and bottom.
