ED RN Job in Corpus Christi, TX

You will work as a Registered Nurse in a 15-bed freestanding emergency department at Corpus Christi Medical Center. This is a day shift position running 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM on a 3x12 schedule, working every other weekend with no on-call requirements.

Your responsibilities include:

• Patient assessment, reassessment, and documentation
• IV starts and medication administration
• Splinting and wound care
• Rapid identification of sepsis, STEMI, stroke, and trauma
• Airway management and ventilator oversight
• Supervision of EMT-Ps
• Maintaining a patient ratio of 1:4 depending on acuity

Required skills and certifications:

• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and CPI or equivalent
• PALS or ENPC
• Demonstrated critical thinking and strong clinical judgment
• Ability to work with urgency while maintaining compassion and teamwork
• Experience with airway management and ventilators preferred

Equipment and systems:

• Baxter pumps, Hamilton ventilators, GE cardiac monitors, and Stryker stretchers
• Meditech EMR system

Workplace expectations:

• Clock out for lunch breaks and any time leaving the building
• Communicate with the CNC regarding your location
• Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs; no hoodies

This 13-week travel assignment begins September 14, 2026. You will earn $1,661 weekly.
