CT Technologist Job in McCandless, PA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is hiring a CT Technologist for a 90-day travel assignment at Southwest - UPMC Passavant in McCandless, PA. This is a full-time position starting September 14, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 4x10 rotating shifts (4 shifts per week, 10 hours each)
• Weekly pay: $3,381
• Duration: 90 days

Responsibilities

You will independently perform computed tomography procedures using established scan protocols, including contrast administration. Your duties include:

• Operating complex imaging equipment for acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, and documentation of image data
• Adjusting protocols and applying prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic CT purposes based on clinical judgment
• Demonstrating proper venipuncture technique and correct use of power injector per protocol
• Administering PO, rectal, and IV contrast per physician orders and department policy
• Assessing patients for risk factors prior to contrast media administration
• Using two patient identifiers and universal protocol for all procedures
• Reviewing patient history and physician orders to apply departmental protocols for optimal results
• Documenting patient history in the electronic medical record
• Ensuring all exams are properly coded, tracked, networked for archiving, and charges are accurately entered

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience
• Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of accredited CNMT program
• ARRT Certificate in CT (must be acquired within 18 months of primary registry acquisition or date of hire)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Pennsylvania Act 31, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 certifications
