Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• 12-hour variable shifts
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Float requirements include Tomahawk, Howard Young, and Eagle River locations
• May be placed on low census call with a minimum 2-hour call back requirement
• Support all patient care areas of the hospital including the ED and general care areas
• Provide emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue situations
• Perform basic respiratory care, critical care, and ventilator management
• Conduct patient assessments using Assess and Treat Protocols
• Provide care for patients of all age groups
• Chart using EPIC
• Operate equipment including Bipap V60, Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, LTV1200 transport ventilators, Airvo2 Heated High Flow, Optiflow, and Resmed S10 auto CPAPs
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS; NRP preferred; NBRC CRT or RRT; Wisconsin license required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
