Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float to all patient care areas of the hospital including the emergency department and general care areas
• May be required to float to other central locations with advance notice
• Provide emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue situations
• Perform basic respiratory care, critical care, and ventilator management
• Conduct patient assessments using Assess and Treat Protocols
• Care for patients of all age groups with pediatric experience required
• Charting and equipment includes V60 BiPAP, Hamilton G5 and C1, iStat, and documentation in Epic
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required; Advanced NRP preferred but not required
• NBRC RRT required; NBRC CRT accepted but RRT must be obtained within one year
• Active Wisconsin license required
• Minimum 3+ years of experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Associate's degree or certificate required
• Dress code: closed-toe shoes, scrubs any color, clean appearance; no smoking or scent allowed; piercings per dress code policy
