PCU Registered Nurse Job in Atlanta, GA

Join Grady Memorial Hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit. You will provide direct patient care in a medical step-down setting with 16-20 beds, working a sustainable schedule while supporting patients through critical transitions in their care.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care with a patient ratio of 1 nurse to 4 patients
• Monitor and manage patients with complex conditions including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, substance abuse, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment plans and optimize patient outcomes
• Assess vital signs, administer medications, and respond to patient needs throughout your shift

Position Details

• Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours, nights
• Contract Length: 110 days
• Start Date: September 21, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $1,906

Requirements

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
