Operating Room RN Job in Florence, SC

McLeod Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN to join the Operating Room team on a 90-day travel assignment. You'll work a 4x10 day shift schedule, including weekends and call responsibilities.

In this role, you will:

• Support surgical procedures across multiple service lines including General, Neuro, Ortho, and Robotics
• Assess patient needs through history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data analysis
• Delegate, supervise, and evaluate the activities of other team members while executing interventions in urgent or emergent situations
• Provide nursing interventions consistent with the Plan of Care and established standards of practice
• Verify the Safe Surgery checklist using service excellence standards
• Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect patients and staff within and outside the sterile field
• Prep the operating room for patient procedures and position and prepare patients on the operating table
• Serve as the communication liaison between family members and operating team members
• Perform all circulating duties with efficiency and speed
• Assist in the control and maintenance of supplies and equipment
• Record all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in a timely manner
• Maintain proficiency in computer programs utilized to deliver patient care
