ICU RN Job in Dallas, TX

Medical City Dallas is seeking an experienced RN for a travel assignment in our 16-bed Intensive Care Unit. This is a 91-day contract beginning September 29, 2026, offering three 12-hour night shifts per week with 48 guaranteed hours and weekly pay of $1,651.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with a 2:1 patient ratio
• Perform or assist with central line and A-line placement and intubation
• Utilize Meditech EMR system and standard ICU equipment
• Float to all ICU floors, BMT (bone marrow transplant), and PCU (progressive care unit) as needed

Unit Details

The ICU operates with a staff of 46 and maintains consistent staffing: one charge nurse and eight RNs per shift. You will work at least four weekends per schedule period.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure
• ICU experience required
• ACLS certification required
• Meditech experience preferred
• Oncology and neuro experience preferred

What to Expect

Night shift hours run 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. You will work in a structured environment with established protocols and access to modern clinical equipment. Royal Blue scrubs are required as part of the dress code.
