Med Surg RN Job in Wheatland, WY

Join Platte County Memorial Hospital as a Med Surg RN on a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 3x12 night shifts, earning $2,310.30 weekly.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data; report abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs, assessment data, and medical plan of care
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of health care team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising the plan of care as needed
• Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and in a timely manner in the patient record
• Perform telemetry strip interpretation as part of job requirements
• Complete ECG exam as required learning
• May supervise staff and workflow of the department

Requirements:

• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting, with experience in Med Surg within the past 12 months
• Wyoming RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Wyoming DFS clearance

Assignment begins October 5, 2026, at Platte County Memorial Hospital, 201 14th St, Wheatland, WY.
