ED Registered Nurse Job in Waupaca, WI

ThedaCare - Waupaca is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a 105-day travel position beginning September 28, 2026.

Position Details:

• 12-hour day shifts, 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• 3 shifts per week with 36 guaranteed hours
• 8-bed emergency unit with 1:4 patient ratio
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Holiday rotation required
• Float to all facilities within a 60-mile radius
• No on-call or callback requirements
• Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks

Compensation:

• $2,404 weekly pay

Required Qualifications:

• Current Wisconsin RN license
• Minimum 3+ years RN experience
• Minimum 2+ years Emergency Department experience
• At least one completed travel contract (no new travelers)
• Epic charting experience within the last year
• AHA BLS certification
• AHA ACLS certification
• AHA PALS certification
• TNCC certification
• NIHSS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Strong communication skills

Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing accepted if BSN not completed. You will work in a collaborative emergency setting with a focus on acute patient care and trauma management. This role requires strong clinical judgment and the ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary team.
