MRI Technologist Job in Rochester, NY

You'll work as an MRI Technologist at URMC Strong Memorial Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center in Rochester, New York. This is a 12-week travel assignment with a start date of November 16, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• Three 12.5-hour shifts per week: Friday through Sunday, 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM
• Weekend blocked days
• Holiday shifts and on-call/callback responsibilities as needed per unit needs
• Weekly pay: $3,020

Your Responsibilities

• Operate MRI machines safely and efficiently
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort
• Insert IVs when necessary for testing procedures
• Coordinate with physicians to deliver diagnostic imaging and ensure timely results
• Document all procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
• Apply knowledge of medical terminology in daily work
• Stand for extended periods during shifts

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
• GE scanner experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience
• New York state license
• BLS certification through American Heart Association
• ARRT certification preferred; you must be willing to obtain it after starting if not already held
