MRI Technologist Job in Rochester, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is hiring an MRI Technologist for a travel assignment at URMC Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. This is a full-time position running 4x10 night shifts, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, for an 89-day contract starting November 16, 2026.

About the Role

You will perform diagnostic MRI imaging in a Level 1 Trauma Center setting. Your responsibilities include preparing patients for scans, explaining procedures to ensure comfort, inserting IVs when necessary for contrast studies, operating GE MRI scanners, and documenting all procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality. You will coordinate with physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging and maintain a clean, safe scanning facility. Holiday shifts may be required per unit needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
• GE scanner experience required
• Injection certification required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification through American Heart Association required
• NY state radiology technologist license required
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Familiarity with medical terminology

Compensation & Details

Weekly pay is $3,577. This travel contract offers a structured night schedule in a high-acuity trauma center environment where your imaging expertise directly supports critical patient care decisions.
