OR RN Job in Detroit, MI

DMC Harper-Hutzel Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 19, 2026.

Role Overview

You will provide direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis within the Operating Room, located on the ground floor. Your responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care tailored to each patient
• Supervise delegated staff and ensure appropriate care delivery
• Support facility nursing leadership in maintaining high-quality, safe care standards
• Monitor clinical staff competency and manage resources efficiently
• Work collaboratively to uphold appropriate nursing practices

Assignment Details

This position is full-time, 3x12 nights per week. You will earn $2,201 weekly. The assignment runs for 91 days, providing stability while you experience a new healthcare environment.

Location & Facility

Detroit, Michigan. DMC Harper-Hutzel Hospital is a teaching and research facility with comprehensive surgical services. The OR is conveniently situated on the ground floor for efficient workflow.

Dress Code

Scrub attire is required in the Operating Room. Nursing staff wear navy blue uniforms.

What You Bring

You hold a current RN license and have experience in perioperative nursing or acute care. You are comfortable in fast-paced surgical environments, skilled in patient advocacy, and committed to evidence-based practice.
