Operating Room RN Job in Pratt, Kansas

You will work as an OR RN Circulator at Pratt Regional Medical Center in Pratt, Kansas. This is a 13-week travel assignment with day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Your weekly pay is $2,592.

Core Responsibilities

• Serve as OR circulator in a block scheduling model with 1:1 patient ratio
• Support procedures across orthopedics, general surgery, obstetrics, gynecology, podiatry, endoscopy, and labor and delivery
• Maintain competency in fire safety, cell saver operation, blood and blood product administration, infection control, laser safety, radiation safety, specimen handling and labeling, universal protocol, and wound management
• Operate specialized equipment including the Hana Table
• Manage on-call responsibilities every 5th or 6th weekend and one day during the week

Required Experience and Skills

• Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience required
• Proficiency in orthopedic procedures including total joint replacement, arthroscopy, and fracture reduction
• Proficiency in general surgery procedures: lobe/lung resection, thoracotomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, laparoscopic assisted procedures, and thyroidectomy
• Proficiency in spinal procedures: laminectomy, discectomy, and spinal fusion
• Proficiency in urologic procedures: cystoscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, and transurethral resection of the prostate
• Proficiency in obstetric C-sections
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Experience with electronic charting systems
• Experience caring for patients across all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
