Job Details:

• Day shift schedule Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• On-call required every 5th or 6th weekend and one day during the week
• Block scheduling type
• Minimum 3 years of experience required with no exceptions per director
• Must be proficient in orthopedics (total joints), general surgery, and OB/C-sections
• Circulator role covering specialties including orthopedics, GYN, podiatry, general surgery, endoscopy, and labor and delivery C-sections
• Must be proficient with procedures including lobe/lung resection, thoracotomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, laparoscopic assisted procedures, thyroidectomy, arthroscopy, fracture reductions, laminectomy/discectomy, spinal fusion, total joint replacement, cystoscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, and transurethral resection of the prostate
• Experience with C-sections, EGD, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, and hip fractures required
• Special equipment includes Hana Table
• Patient age groups include adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 5-room OR suite with daily census of 12
• Charting system experience required; any system accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• First-time travelers are not accepted
• 1 reference required
• License in hand or compact license required at submission
