Respiratory Therapist Job in Richmond, VA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment at Henrico Doctors Hospital-Forest in Richmond, VA. You'll work the night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, on a 3x12 schedule with weekly pay of $1,752.

About the Role

You will deliver respiratory care on a general respiratory therapy unit within a 430-bed facility. Night shifts are staffed with 3 team members, and you'll manage a typical patient load of 20–25 treatments per round. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating and maintaining oxygen delivery systems, BIPAP/CPAP machines, ventilators, and nebulizers
• Performing arterial blood gas collections and analysis
• Documenting patient care using the Meditech EMR system
• Rotating weekend schedules as assigned
• On-call availability preferred (one 24-hour shift every 5–6 weeks)

Requirements

• Current RRT credential (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
• Current Virginia State License
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• ICU experience required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Assignment Details

This is a 91-day contract beginning September 28, 2026. You'll be part of a professional team in a dynamic acute-care setting. Navy blue scrubs are required per facility dress code.
