Respiratory Therapist Job in Fredricksburg, VA

Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 91-day travel assignment in Fredricksburg, VA. You will work the night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, on a 3x12 schedule with every other weekend included. Weekly pay is $1,814.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care to adult and NICU patients in a 140-bed facility
• Operate specialized ventilation equipment including Hamilton C1, V60, and Hamilton MR1 ventilators
• Administer and manage CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, and Bubble CPAP therapies
• Document patient care using the Meditech system
• Work without a floating policy—you remain in your assigned unit

Required Qualifications:

• RRT certification
• Minimum 2 years of general respiratory therapy experience
• NICU experience required with a minimum skill level of 3 in NICU-specific competencies
• BLS certification required; ACLS and NRP preferred but may be obtained after hire

This assignment begins October 12, 2026, and runs for 91 days. You will work in a 140-bed facility with no floating requirements. All black scrubs are required as part of the dress code.
