ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with schedule options of 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM or 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM
• Six weekend shifts required per six-week schedule
• No floating expectations
• No on-call responsibilities
• Holiday requirements: 1 major holiday and 1 minor holiday
• 2+ years of emergency department experience required
• Must have experience with both adult and pediatric patients
• Care for a mixed adult and pediatric population across 24 care areas
• Common patient diagnoses include STEMI, stroke, sepsis, sprains, sutures, and high acuity cases including pediatrics
• Administer drips including routine vasopressors, insulin, and sedation
• Patient ratios are staffed at 4:1, with potential to stretch to 5:1 during peak census
• Epic access required with ASAP module
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• TNCC preferred
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
