ED - Emergency Room

RN - ED

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with primary hours of 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM with flexibility to work 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM - must be able to work both shifts
• Every other weekend requirement with 6 shifts in 6 weeks
• Holiday coverage required including 4th of July (day and evening)
• Float to Springfield Healthplex location as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Combined adult and pediatric emergency department - must have experience in both
• Care for patients with common diagnoses including STEMI, stroke, sprains, sutures, and high acuity cases
• Pediatric patients are seen in all zones - no separate pediatric area
• Administer drips including routine vasopressors, insulin, and sedation
• Patient ratios staffed at 4:1 with potential to stretch to 5:1 during peak census
• Epic access required
• Dress code: Navy Blue scrubs
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• TNCC preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of emergency department experience required
