ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Variable weekend schedule with 5-6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• No on-call required, though staff may pick up on-call shifts voluntarily
• Holiday requirement of 1 summer holiday and 1 winter holiday
• 2+ years of emergency room nursing experience required
• Experience in both adult and pediatric emergency care required
• Patient ratios staffed at 4:1, with potential to stretch to 5:1 during peak census
• Work in a busy community ER and stroke center seeing a wide variety of cases
• 27-bed emergency department
• No floating expected
• Epic EMR access required
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (all must be from the American Heart Association)
