ED - Emergency Room

RN - ED

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Variable weekend schedule - 5 to 6 weekend shifts every 6 weekends
• No on-call required, though staff may pick up additional on-call shifts voluntarily
• Holiday requirement of 1 major (winter) and 1 minor (summer) holiday
• 2+ years of emergency room nursing experience required
• Work in a community adult and pediatric emergency room with 27 beds
• Patient ratios are staffed at 4:1, with potential stretch to 5:1 during peak census
• Busy community ER and stroke center treating a wide variety of patient diagnoses
• No floating expectations
• Epic EMR access required - modules needed as soon as possible
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS - all must be from the American Heart Association
