Job Details:

• Work 5 days per week on 8-hour shifts
• Bachelor's, Master's, or entry level Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited college or university required
• Current New Mexico Physical Therapist Licensure required
• BLS certification via AHA required
• EMR system used: EPIC
• Dress code: Khaki pants and white polo
• Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to determine physical and cognitive abilities of inpatients and outpatients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals in collaboration with patients and families
• Provide physical therapy services including assessment, treatment plan development and implementation, follow-up, and discharge planning
• Maintain documentation including initial patient evaluations, daily and weekly progress notes, discharge summaries, and other notations as appropriate
• Participate in patient care conferences, family conferences, in-service programs, and departmental meetings
• Assist with coordination and supervision of Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant student programs as well as volunteer programs
• Supervise Licensed Physical Therapy Assistants, Rehab Technicians, and Volunteers
• Actively assist with clinical aspects of the department including orientation of new associates and patient scheduling
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities and maintain departmental productivity standards
• Utilize all modalities and equipment used by a Physical Therapist as outlined by the Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners
