Med Surg RN Job in Rochester, NY

URMC Strong Memorial Hospital is seeking an RN for a Med Surg role in their Level 2 Rehabilitation unit. You'll work 36 hours per week on an interdisciplinary team caring for adults and pediatric patients in acute rehabilitation and physical medicine.

Role Details

• 12-hour shifts available, with day, evening, and night options
• Holidays and weekends required per unit policy
• Care for patients across multiple diagnoses: Stroke, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neuro, Oncology, Pediatric, Solid Organ Transplant, and Heart Failure
• Provide clinical and emotional support to patients and families as they work toward independence

Qualifications

• Current New York State RN license
• BLS certification from American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years Med Surg experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Recent pediatric experience preferred
