Occupational Therapist Job in San Ramon, CA

CVH Care Home Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist for home health services in the San Ramon area. This is a 182-day travel position starting May 4, 2026, with day shift scheduling.

Position Overview

You will provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes across assigned territories. New graduates are welcome to apply. Home health experience is preferred but not required.

Scheduling and Pay

Two scheduling options are available:

• Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week with a minimum of 27 points required (you must complete 30 points weekly)
• Non-guaranteed hours: payment on a per-visit basis with no guaranteed hours

Weekly pay is $2,628. Each visit equals 1 point and converts to 1.33 hours. Your rate covers drive time, visit time, documentation, and phone calls to patients and doctors.

Responsibilities

Visit types include OASIS recertification, routine visits, evaluations, discharges, and follow-ups. You must be willing to travel outside your assigned service area occasionally to maintain your full caseload. Weekend coverage may be required. You must be willing to see COVID-positive and COVID-PUI patients.

Your assigned territory includes Area 1 (Fremont, Castro Valley, Ashland, Cherryland, Hayward, Newark, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Union City) and either Area 2 (Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, Albany, Emeryville, Piedmont) or Area 3 (San Ramon, Dublin, Pleasanton, Sunol, Livermore).

Requirements

• Current California OT License
• BLS certification
• Valid Driver's License, auto insurance, and auto registration
• TB screening (annual)
• MMR, Varicella, HepB, TDap (10 years), Flu (annual)
• Drug screen and physical
