Telemetry RN Job in Denver, CO

HCA HealthONE Rose is seeking an RN for a 91-day travel assignment in Telemetry. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, on a 32-bed unit located on the 4th floor of the main hospital.

Unit Overview:

• Telemetry/Med Surg unit with adjacent Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Patient ratio of 4 or 5:1
• Shift staffing: 1 charge nurse, 4–8 RNs, 2 floor CNAs, and 1 sitter

Your Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients on telemetry systems and respond to cardiac events
• Perform IV starts and foley catheter placements
• Assist with chest tube removals
• Operate GE Telemetry system
• Provide compassionate care to post-operative patients, including those recovering from CABG procedures
• Collaborate with nursing staff and support personnel to ensure safe, quality patient care

Required Qualifications:

• RN license (current and unrestricted)
• Minimum 1 year of current hospital telemetry experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience caring for post-operative CABG patients
• Meditech EMR experience
• Outgoing, team-player personality with initiative
