Telemetry RN Job in Kingwood, TX

HCA Houston Kingwood is seeking an RN for a 13-week travel assignment on our Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. You will work the night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), three 12-hour shifts per week, beginning November 2, 2026.

About the Role

You will join a 28-bed telemetry unit on the 4th floor of the North Tower, providing direct patient care with a patient ratio of 1:5–6. Your responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, wound care procedures, and documentation using the Meditech EMR system. You will operate equipment including Baxter IV pumps, SCD machines, glucometer, mobilab, and Welch Allyn devices.

Night shift staffing consists of 1 Charge Nurse, 3 RNs, 3 LVNs, and 3 PCTs, ensuring a collaborative team environment. You may float to other Medical/Surgical Telemetry units or the Emergency Department as needed to support inpatient hold patients.

Schedule & Requirements

• Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Duration: 13 weeks (91 days)
• Weekend obligation: Four weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; no on-call required
• Weekly pay: $1,651

Qualifications

• Active RN license (required)
• BSN (preferred)
• BLS certification (required)
