Respiratory Therapist Job in Berlin, WI

ThedaCare - Berlin is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment. You will work 3x12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM to 7:00 AM) with 36 guaranteed hours per week, including every weekend rotation (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). Holiday rotation is possible depending on the schedule.

Role and Responsibilities

• Serve as the sole RT on shift in a 10-bed ED and 6-bed OB unit with a maximum of 13 inpatients
• Administer BiPAP, high-flow oxygen therapy, and nebulizer treatments
• Float to all ThedaCare facilities as needed
• Facility does not retain vented patients but may initiate care before transfer
• No on-call required, though additional shifts may be offered

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of experience in respiratory therapy
• Associate degree or certificate in respiratory therapy
• NBRC RRT certification
• Wisconsin RT license
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• AHA PALS certification strongly preferred
• EPIC charting experience preferred

Position Details

Start date is November 9, 2026. Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of the absence. You must demonstrate strong communication skills, flexibility with treatment plans, self-motivation, and maintain professional appearance in clean scrubs.

Compensation and Schedule

Weekly pay is $2,406. The contract runs 13 weeks. This is a nights-only position with no on-call obligations.
