Telemetry RN Job in Knoxville, TN

University of Tennessee Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 91-day travel assignment in Knoxville, TN. This is a float position in acute care, offering 3x12-hour day shifts at $1,995.84 per week.

Schedule & Assignment Details

• 12-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Block scheduling not available
• Float assignments made by nursing supervisor at time of staffing

Float Unit Options

Your assignments may rotate across Medical Comfort Care, Surgery and GI, Trauma, Medical, Observation, Oncology, Medical Nephrology, Ortho, Joint Replacement/Ortho, Neuro, Vascular, Pulmonary, Cardiac Surgery, and Cardiac units. Patient ratios typically run 1:6 and vary according to unit need.

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered Tennessee or multi-state compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years experience in comparable acuity hospital setting
• Current BLS certification
• Cerner EMR experience required
• First-time travelers considered

Additional Information

Uniform scrubs are Royal Blue. Assignment begins October 5, 2026.
