Physical Therapist Job in Joshua Tree, CA

Hi-Desert Medical Center in Joshua Tree, California is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract assignment. You will provide physical therapy services to patients across acute care and continuing care settings, with primary focus on the continuing care center.

Position Details:

• Shift: 5 days per week, 8-hour days (0800–1630)
• Weekly pay: $2,448
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: August 31, 2026

Your Responsibilities:

• Administer physical therapy tests and treatments to patients
• Develop realistic functional goals in collaboration with patients and families
• Apply appropriate therapeutic modalities and procedures with knowledge of indications and contraindications
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

What We're Looking For:

You hold a degree in Therapy with credentials as a Physical Therapist. You are skilled in patient assessment, have strong clinical judgment, and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary care teams. You are committed to patient-centered care and helping individuals achieve meaningful functional outcomes.
