ED - Emergency Room

RN - ER

Job Details:

• 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (3:00 PM to 3:00 AM occasionally as needed)
• Up to every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed
• No on-call required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers welcome
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Self-scheduling
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, STARR/Behavioral population
• EPIC EMR experience required
• STEMI and Stroke facility experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Cares for all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Special care populations include cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health
• Key skills include BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, continuous IV sedation, CVA management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, triage, phlebotomy, and starting and maintaining IVs
• Travelers may be floated to any campus within the health system as needed
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius
• Active license must be in hand at submission
