Telemetry RN Job in Tucson, AZ

Northwest Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Tucson, Arizona. You'll work day shifts on a 3x12 schedule, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with six weekend shifts per six-week rotation.

Role Overview

As a float pool RN, you'll deliver direct patient care across four facilities within the Northwest Healthcare system: Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita. You'll manage a patient ratio of 6:1 on the Telemetry unit, utilizing the Nursing Process to ensure safe, evidence-based care aligned with Arizona's Nurse Practice Act and institutional policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide shift accountability for patient care and clinical decision-making
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and clinical leadership
• Delegate patient care priorities based on available staff education and experience
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education

Requirements

• Current Arizona nursing license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to float between multiple facilities
• Flexibility with weekend scheduling
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Assignment Details

This is a 13-week contract with a start date of September 14, 2026. You'll earn $2,080 per week. Scrubs may be any color. You'll work as part of a dedicated travel nursing team, bringing continuity and specialized expertise to the Telemetry department while gaining broad clinical exposure across the Northwest Healthcare network.
