ED RN Job in Sterling, CO

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department at Sterling Regional Medical Center, located at 615 Fairhurst St in Sterling, Colorado. This is a travel nursing position with an 89-day duration, starting December 27, 2026.

Position Details

• Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)
• Shift: Three 12-hour day shifts per week
• Weekly Pay: $2,398
• Duration: 89 days

Your Responsibilities

You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards. This includes conducting comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.

You will review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers. You will formulate and implement individualized plans of care, including discharge planning, in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members. You will delegate and supervise activities of licensed nurses and other healthcare personnel to promote continuity of care.

Additional responsibilities include evaluating patient and family responses to care and teaching, revising care plans as needed, and documenting assessments, nursing interventions, and patient responses in a legible and timely manner. You will participate in unit or facility shared leadership, contribute to the improvement of national nursing quality indicators, and precept and mentor facility personnel, patients, students, and families as appropriate.

Required Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in Colorado
• Minimum one year experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Experience in the Emergency Department within the past 12 months
• Colorado CAPS clearance card
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC

• Bachelor's degree
• Professional certification
