ED Registered Nurse Job in Stockbridge, GA

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department in Stockbridge, Georgia. This is a 112-week travel assignment beginning November 9, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $1,803.

Position Details

• Shift: 3x12 nights
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers are accepted
• Work every other weekend with no on-call requirements
• Patient ratios of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Float within facility and scope of practice as needed
• 12 orientation hours required
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at submission
• Holiday work expectations apply based on major holidays falling within the assignment period

Required Credentials and Certifications

• Georgia or compact nursing license
• ACLS, BLS, PALS
• NIHSS certification
• Telemetry competency exam

Preferred Certifications

• CPI, TNCC, ENPC

Required Skills

• Triage and patient assessment
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Care of ventilated patients

Preferred Skills

• Continuous IV sedation
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Special equipment experience with Arctic Sun and GlucoCommander

Facility Information

• 59-bed emergency department with average daily census of 250 visits
• Care for patients across all age groups: neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Level 3 trauma designation in process
• Primary stroke center, CHF, STEMI, and chest pain center services
• Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
